Just a quick note to mention a few changes to the site.
In future we won't be doing a 'Photo of the Day' each and every day. Instead, we'll be showing a 'Featured Photo' on an ad hoc basis when a particularly strong or interesting image comes to our attention.
We still aim to post each and every day, but in future we will be aiming for a broader mix of material, incorporating more news and features.
Also, in a few weeks the 'Friday Five' will switch to a monthly format. A full month will give photographers who want to participate a much wider time frame in which to shoot, hopefully producing a larger set of strong photos. There will be two more weekly 'Friday Fives' and then the 'Seaford' theme will run for the whole of September:
Beachy Head (Aug 20th)
Street Portrait (Aug 27th)
Seaford (SEPTEMBER)
Photos don't have to be taken or even submitted during the time period in order to be featured on the site for a particular theme.
Photos should be submitted to the Flickr group. Please tag submissions with the theme title.
